Hello, my name is Rob and I've been in Arizona for 18yrs now. Beautiful state with lots of unique photo opportunities.
I've been taking pictures for about 8yrs. I know the basics of Photoshop but just started to get into using layers, what a trip. Got lots to learn there. I was shooting Nikon from the start but switched to Canon a little more than a year ago. Shooting with 5D MKIII body and love my 500 f4 with the 1.4TC. Used in photographing hummingbirds when we go camping up north.
Primary focus is wildlife but also like action sports, macro and working on Landscape photography. Just found BirdsAsArt website and Arthur pointed me here.
GOAL for 2014: taking my wildlife photography to a new level.... Going to be a busy year!
I look forward to meeting up with you folks and for getting some great, honest feedback on my images. I hope there will be a noticeable progression in what you see from me.
Welcome to BPN, Rob! Looking forward to your participation. One of our moderators did a great tutorial on the basics of using Photoshop layers, so you might want to check that out here: http://www.birdphotographers.net/for...549#post953549.
Hi Rob and welcome! You will be quite inspired by the wildlife forum here as there are so many talented photographers there. Hopefully you will start posting and learning as much as you can .Looking forward to your participation
Hi Rob and welcome to another BPN'er from the Valley of the Sun. My favorite local bird spot is out your way (Gilbert Riparian Preserve) and perhaps we can meet up there one day. Your 5DIII and 500/4 will get a good workout there. I look forward to seeing your images.
