Stunningly sharp with a very good exposure and a pleasing image design. That said I think that I would prefer a 3X2 crop with some off the top and the bottom. It looks to me as if it might need a bit of a CW rotation.... All in all, well done.

Hi Keith it's a nice looking image.
Phil.
I like the sharpness, wet feathers and details. Nice image Keith.

Amazing details, sharpness, good colors. Agreed with Artiet hat the image may need a CW rotation. TFS. Loi
Thanks for your comments and tips ,tried a bit of rotation .

nice capture Keith, sharp with some nice detail, not sure of the yellow cast on the wing area and other places.TFS.
Hi Keith, I too like sparrows, they have lovely colours. You have brought out the wet feathers nicely, overall sharp, and nothing wrong in trying a vertical comp too.![]()
I echo Artie's comment Keith. Yes, the DoF is perhaps a little shallow for me, as I would have liked the beak to have been sharp too, but now you have the D4 everything is possible, well done.Stunningly sharp with a very good exposure and a pleasing image design.
Great to see these under rated chaps posted.

Post Production: It’s ALL about what you do with the tools and not, which brand of tool you use.
Thanks Chris,Stuart, Steve shot this at F4 very close up before I new better, but this was more of an exercise in using CS5 which I think I am improving thanks to yourself and tips I get from this forum.

Keith, you only need to know a few things, don't get bogged down, keep it simple and you will be fine. Just think how far you have come and what you can/will achieve in this year.![]()

How sweet! Tons of character in this image. Love the wet plumage and the swirling water. To me theye seems to have just barely fallen out of dof...with the sharpest parts just behind it. Perhaps another round of localized sharpening would work for web presentation. Still a fine and fun image!
Thanks Daniel it was posted with a bit of fun in mind

Nice bathing image . The whites are very near to blown on the cheeks etc but no big deal. Bit more rotation on the second post needed too.
No probs with the yellow on chest - maybe just wet dirty whites. Anyone who knows pool photography will know about the coulour casts with wet feathers.
Youhave improved greatly of late.' Keep it up. You have had a good tutor !
