Pretty image, the bird really pops out. Not sure if its my screen but to my eyes it looks over sharpened, especially in the details of the wings and tail of the bird. Also the foreground plant that covers up the end of the birds tail is a bit distracting.

The brilliant colors of the bird against the brown BG make this one work for me. But I wish the foreground oof plant didn't occupy quite so much of the frame. Bit of sharpening halo around the bird.

This is pretty, love the inclusion habitat and pose. the closer OOF strand that has blocked the tail is a bit distracting. It does look oversharpened to me with halo around the bird. I wish you had more detail in the blacks

I like the concept and the bird but would have liked to have seen the subject in the lower right third....

Love what you were going for here. What a pleasing, artistic image. I would crop some from the right to move the bird into the lower right of the image.

Interesting image Gerhard. I like the setting, colourful bird and loose composition. I too would move the bird more to the right of the frame.
