Another one from Bolsa Chica from last December.
I have a few against darker backgrounds, but I enjoyed the non-competing plain water bg in this one.

Like the wings-down pose, the sharpness and the pretty blue water. Whites are looking a little gray though; I might brighten things up a bit.

Thanks Doug. I'm on a new monitor that I've only visually calibrated. Will revisit.

Man Sid, you got some great waterfowl shots when you were down here. This one rocks! Not sure how it could get much better, maybe if he looked over at you and winked ;) The techs and details look great and the water is a pretty baby blue.
    Perfect comp too. Great work.

Not the easiest of ducks to capture in flight, excellent job. Exposure is very nice.

Hi Sid, love the light, and you sure captured a great flight pose with the full downstroke of the near wing. I really like the earthy colours on this species, sharp, and I will take a water BG any day. Well captured.

Killer as noted above. My favorite things are the near wing position and the angled blue streaks in the BKGR.
