    Taken at Longwood Gardens last week. 105 mm macro with tripod.
    Processing: Crop, Levels, DeNoise, Topaz Detail, Topaz Adjust >HDR, Photo Filter red, contrast, Shadows/Highlights. Two textures: Believe by Distressed Jewel, and Watercolor Green emm by pareeerica.

    Lovely soft light, great composition and I love where the very narrow plane of focus fell. Unexpected!

    Great colours and the shallow DOF works really well. I thought the yellows in the flower had a bit too much green (maybe from the texture), but I boosted the saturation in the yellows and changed the hue a bit Anita to really bring the yellow out. I hope you don't mind me working on your image.

    Beautifully done, Anita. The composition is superb -- not only in terms of the flower but the background, also. That narrow plane of focus works very well.

    I think Jackie's suggestion about making things yellower has some merit, but I wouldn't touch the saturation. The amount you have fits nicely with the image being so diffused.

    Hi, Anita, I like the composition and your use of textures. I think the little bit of added yellow looks good. Hope to see more from Longwood

    Thank you for the comments. I do think I like the yellow version created by Jackie. And, no, I don't mind anyone on this list working to improve my images.
