Cute moment Johnny! The snowflakes in the tail make the shot for me (as does the falling sleet/snow). I just wish you'd opted for a higher SS as the head looks quite soft compared to the rest of the body (that and the hands, so presuming it's motion blur).

    Hi Morkel
You got it ! Even at this close distance they twitch when they can see me. Chewing dood makes the movement really fast Ithough 250th would have done it bu tit didn;t .
The head will sharpen as little was done to the image.
    Cheers

Always chewing, cheeks are never sharp even at 1/500... like the snow but agree with Morkel about shutter speed. Not from this year I take it?

    Thanks
Neil- no last year. had none yet- plenty of "warm snow " though!
Regarding the ss. I was obviously set up for birds on a perch above the table, and on Apertut#re priority as always. I wouldn't normally set up for these fellas !!

Really cute shot - shows how they use their tail as an umbrella! Very sharp - the head could be a little sharper.
