Jonathan, nice image here in good set up. Good sharpness, detail, head angle, colors. I like the perch and the multi-tone BG. TFS. Loi

Good detail and the contrasting pink feet-wow. Is this a common bird at the feeder? The yellow edge of the wing could be softened and the tail looks a little funky

I like the background, perch and most importantly the Finch. Terrific IQ and positioning of the bird in the image.

Nice background withat least a bit of detail. Wing yellow is a tiny bit bright but no big deal.
The left perch end ending in shot would have been better maybe.

The IQ is just sublime, Jon. The perch is the right thickness and has the right amount of greens on it to embellish the image. Perch parallel to the sensor and everything within the depth of field adds to the success of this image. Gorgeous species.

Jonathan I would not change a thing ,the bird looks perfect with nice true to life colour and you have some soft looking feathers which I really like, a beautiful BG is icing on the cake, excellent.

Thanks very much everyone . Douglas /Johnny yes this is common in my neck of the woods, I did tone down the yellows a little in the raw conversion but I must admit I didn't check the final JPEG .
