    Default Late afternoon Harrier

    Attached Images Attached Images

The golden light before sunset on a clear day last year at the end of January. The Harrier activity was great this time of the year, as they were patrolling for the next coot attack. Shot from the car window on a bean bag. Thanks for your comments, I am learning alot from your inputs.

Doesn't get any better, Glenn. The killer light coupled with that nice bg and eye contact make this one a winner.
I can see this working well with a 3:2 aspect ratio.
You're posting some fantastic work. Keep them coming!

Our evening light cant be beat Glenn, and this shot is a perfect example of it. Its intense enough to shoot at higher shutter speeds but has allot of beautiful golden color to it. Beautiful pose and a great BG make for a real beauty.
Cant wait for it to get cold again so the Harriers move in large numbers.

What a stunner, and you guys sure were blessed with amazing rays!! It's a tad square for my taste. I would consider a slight crop off of the bottom and an equal amount of canvas on the left.

Killer pose, background, and light! Perhaps its just me but I am seeing a slight greenish cast...see if adding a bit of red to the colour balance gives an even better result...

Thanks Marina, I think your correct. I need to experiment more with my crop presentation before posting. We are very lucky to have so many clear mornings and afternoons.

Fantastic detail Glenn. I like Marina's idea to crop a bit off the bottom of the frame.

Excellent image Glenn! I like the wing position, IQ, HA, complimentary BG and sweet light.
