    Default Red-vented Bulbul

    Got a chance to shoot this bird last Sunday in a swamp in the outskirts of Kolkata, India.

    Red-vented Bulbul
    7D, 400mmf/5.6L
    1/50s
    f/5.6
    ISO-1000
    Ev+0.7
    LR3.6+CS6, Lower left corner content aware filled to remove a distracting shrub.
    Supported the lens on a branch, no place to use a tripod.
    Near sunset time

    Pity about the loss of dof on the tail and part of the wing but the front of the bird looks very good indeed with just a bit of the red vent showing.

    You did a good job showcasing this bird in a busy habitat. You acquired nice colors and feather details. Wish I could see all of his feet.

    Interesting perch with that leaf holding up. Good exposure and details. A bit of stuff creeping up in the frame at left bottom edge that could be cleaned up for a cleaner finish.
