Roy that is a very clever piece of work, was this intentional or just something that happened? I know it's all questions but is that a bullrush it is perched on? I like your end result which ever way it was.

Kieth, I did see the bird flying toward the one perched on the bullrush.

Roy, I really like this!! Quite unique, and I like the title hehe. You could not have asked for better superimposition than this. The front bird is so nonchalant and has absolutely no idea of what is coming up behind, quite comical! If you have a bit more room below that would be cool, and I'd investigate removing the two extra bits at bottom. Great stuff!

What a shot - great timing - what sort of bird is it?

Thanks everyone. Both are Red-winged Blackbirds and should read 500mm. I do have a little more room below and was thinking of removing the two stems but in the end I liked the symmetry and left them in.

Roy thanks for the ID the bird looks very much like our Common Starling.
