One from the summer had a few of these birds coming to my pool/feeding station ,lost a bit of detail in the tail but it's still an image I like.

Thanks for looking and your comments and tips on my last image.

Hi Keith, lovely colours on this fellow, and this angle shows off the feather detail nicely, especially the wings. Im not sure how close you were, but you could have traded some SS for more DOF. Super smooth BG. I would maybe take a bit off the top and LHS.

Lovely bird that I'm not familiar with. Nice and sharp (sharpest on the mantle), except for the tail as you noted. Often a perch this size would be thought too large for a little bird, but I like it here. I also like the comp (maybe just a tad too much negative space on the left.) Wished for just a little more head turn.

Very nice indeed fine detail, I would suggest cropping in from top left - there is a quite a lot of empty space - WDYT?

Beautiful little bird nicely shown. Very colorful, as Bill wrote... a bird I am not familiar with. I agree with the soft tail but other than that great image.

Nice bird and colors. I'm with Stuart on taking some of the LHS and top. Tail is a little OOF, but not a deal breaker. Loi
