    Default FROST ON FROST

The composite image consists of a macro bg of frost on my garage window and a weed covered with hoarfrost. Unlike Dennis, I did not keep track of the multiple steps taken to arrive at the final product.

I like your composite idea, but I think I'd like the image more if there were greater detail/contrast in the weed and hoarfrost. I wonder about the intensity of the background, too, and wonder about lightening it and reducing its saturation.

Hi, Gary and Dennis, I think I'd like something in between these two posts. I like the darker background in the OP and Dennis' repost with more detail in the hoarfrost Geez, I love living in Florida!

    Gary,

I love the Hoar Frost, and I agree with Cheryl about the darker background I think that would really make the frost on the weed pop.

Neat Gary. I think a blue somewhere in between would be nice, perhaps with a little less cyan. Also it catches my attention a little more with the added detail.

Thanks to all for the look and comment. Excuse the tardy reply. My wife and I are in search of warmer climes with a new RV. The learning curve is steep. I will work on this one when settled.

Cool image! (No pun intended.) I'm also of the in-between mindset. I like the edge effect, but wish for a little more detail in the frost on the twig.
