Placement of birds

I just got back from a morning shoot at Venice and have a really nice shot of 2 GBH's but one is facing left and one is facing right. How do I place that when I'm cropping the image ?

It's not easy to imagine without image but I would put them either a little left or right of the center, whatever looks best.
