I made my first trip out the circle B Bar Preserve in Lakeland Florida. There are some many subject you don't know where to start. I captured this Osprey in a Stare down with the camera.

Always a fun species to find, observe, and photograph, Robert. The crop appears a bit tight for my liking. While I don't object to the Osprey behind the tree, I think a square crop would work better if you have the time. The large irises of the bird are telling of your low light conditions at the time of the shot. Had you considered brightening the image overall? Certainly focus on the head, throat, and eyes of the bird if considering that. A sharper head and beak would add greater appeal as well.

I am in broad agreement with Bob.A good catch here. I think the watermark should be reduced in size.

Great eye contact. Beautiful bird. Would like to see what this would have looked like without the extender on. If the branches in front of the bird were in focus, the image would be all the better imo. For some reason the tail of the bird appears a bit sharper than the head...maybe another light round of sharpening on the head/face is worth considering. The signatur line is pretty glaring here...Have you had people stealing your images, or are you just trying something new?
