The recent high tides and surges have provided lots of opportunities for the stonechats, linnets and wagtails etc. to rummage around for seeds in the washed up debris.
    All C&C welcome.

GORGEOUS bird and great perch. Sounds like many birds are available with good light- i hope to make back to UK soon.

Pretty cool perch, and the fresh greenery at right certainly adds a beautiful complementary flair of colour beside that orange of the subject! Too bad the longer pale twig was there, but still not too bad. Just for a smoother finsh I'd probably use a low opacity clone tool to soften the lines in the BG. Very well done and quite appealing!!

Nice habitat, pose and sharpness. I could also see this as a horizontal crop that takes a bit off the bottom of the frame.

I like the horizontal and was thinking something like this but that is my personal preference. Nice image Jonathan.

Nice Image. Perfect exposure. All areas show Details. I prefer Jim's repost, too

Nice capture and overall scene. The detail and exposure look good too. I like the first comp best myself. Well done.

Hi Jon, I like these guys, and you have exposed his colours spot on. Great that he is posed against the smoother BG, and I prefer Jim's comp.

Pretty cool to see how the thread progressed. I really enjoy the last repost in terms of space and background softness. Pretty gnarly perch to capture this beautiful little bird on. Well done.

I had no issue with the initial crop, but man the one in pane #7 rocks!
