The Great Grey Owl hunts on the fields nearby Stockholm, the most outhern nesting in Scandinavia as far as I know. This is just on of the images I got the other day, here I believe it has catched a mice. NOTE: It's not a mice someone has thrown to them.
PS. I don't have anything against if some photographers use a mice to feed the Hawk Owl or the Great Grey Owl in the difficult Winters in Finland or somewhere else - or if they feed the Snowy Owl in Canada. But it's much more fun when you get shots from a bird's real hunting, of course.
