    wow. you got the good light there. when I was there they'd only perch in backlight.

    Wonderful portrait, and you managed to minimize the steep angle with the long focal length. Sweet light worked in your favor.

    Hi Shawn,

    Very nice head angle and warm light. Your dark BG really makes the colors pop. Not sure why the tree shows a little movement if your shutter speed was 1/1600.... and it does not look like DOF.

    Very nice as above. The head is actually turned a bit too much towards you. You could have used about half the head turn. Love the texture of the perch and the sweet light.
