~I love owls. Looking forward to documenting the Screech Owl season this year. I am away now so I am posting a Facebook version of the image with the watermark.

Great stuff ! Interesting the different iris size in the eyes. Is this a nest box ?

I love owls too. And your image with the two owls looks very well. I love the great eye contact and the tone in tone colours.

So cute great shot Troy. The eye contact is awesome. A Pileated worked very hard on that hole and for someone else to live in it!

They have been going back and forth the the last two years. This year is the same. Pileated were around for a bit until SO took over.

Troy would I be right in thinking that these Owlets are at different stages of development? the front one does look a lot smaller. It's a great image a real pleasure to view.

    Keith,

You are correct. They were 3 babies and that must have been the youngest. They all fledged and hopefully are living a happy life. :)

    Thank you

Lovely shot Troy - beautiful lighting.......but for me you spoilt it big time with the © smack dab on the main subject.

Thank you Jonathan, for me a watermark does not spoil an image. :)

Great capture, very special. Watermark takes away from presentation IMO.

Hi Troy, love the wide eyed eye contact, and both nicely nestled in the tree. I appreciate your opinion regarding the watermark, but IMHO, it does take away it bit from the overall image.
