Anita inspired me to invert this reflection that I had taken on the same trail. This one was taken with my 5D Mark III and it was a cloudy day and pretty monochromatic to begin with.

Wow...very cool! A bit ghostly with those white branches reaching out into the water, almost like searching and reaching fingers. I like the water ripples at the top, as they take your eye down and into the wavy branches.

Who would've guessed it??? Inversion -- at least in this case -- is a wonderful thing. I inverted it, again, to see what you started with, and I like that, too. However, the inverted version is captivating. The blue and brown work together very well, and the effect of the ripples on all those reflections adds a lot to the appeal of the image. Very, very nice.

    Thanks, Nancy and Dennis.
Actually, I'm working on images from Bosque and this is a cropped image from the Flight Deck - in the upper right corner were a pair of Pintail ducks - I cropped them out to just include the reflections which is what I had been drawn to originally.

Cheryl, too funny! Most people go to Bosque to photograph the geese, ducks and cranes, and you crop them out. Actually I think you see way more than most photographers at Bosque and capture wonderfully unique & creative images. I really look forward to your interpretations of a place.

I agree with Nancy. When you posted your images from last year at Bosque, I was immediately taken by what you saw that, perhaps, other visitors don't.

Thanks, Nancy, Dennis and Paul. I had to laugh when I realized it was from Bosque. Actually I like the uncropped one that includes the pintails but they're so small in the frame that they were incidental to the reflections

I really like this one Cheryl. Very creative. Maybe one day you could explain how to do blurs, I am terrible at them.
