This was taken at the North Beach in Fort Desoto, Florida. I had a great time following this Tricoloured Heron around. Added some canvas top and right side of the frame. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

I like the strutting pose, the beautiful light and the excellent details. That red eye is engaging and I like where it's placed in the frame. Nicely done Jim.

Spot on !! The head area makes it. A nice big portrait cropof the head would be nice too!

Jim you are getting some cracking Heron shots, this one is really strutting out. Looking at your shots of Florida makes me determined to get back over there before I'm to old. Pleasure to view.

Nice pose in great light and great detail and sharpness. Yes the eye does it. The only thing that I could wish for is a lower shooting angle, but not sure if it was possible at this location. TFS. Loi
