Well here goes nothin'! I enjoy creating images that are Out of the Box while out in the field, but I've gotta' say, I haven't done too much Out of the Box post processing. I've worked as Graphic Designer / Web Designer for about 10 years now, so I know my way around PhotoShop... but I don't have any filters (hope to get some Nik software soon).

Let me know what you think.

    Default Welcome!

Welcome Blake. The blur makes the Pelican really look like a B52 coming in! I like it. Did you use a filter?

Not one specific filter. About 3 layers of motion blurs with different lengths, opacities, and layer styles. Separated his head from his body so that it would be fully sharp and the rest of him slightly blurred... a few other tweaks as well :)

Excellent use of motion blur, Overlord :)

This is really cool, Blake. Definitely looks like a plane coming in...or a Terradactyl! I think you could get a similar effect in camera by using a slow-sync (trailing) flash. Nicely done.
