    Default Ring-billed Gull In-Flight

    [IMG][/IMG]

    Hello,
This was taken in Wrightsville Beach, NC.
    Canon 7D with Canon 300mm f/4 with 1.4 TC. 1/5000s f/6.3 ISO 400 -2/3 EV Hand Held.
Now that I look at it more, it seems a little tight. I slightly cropped from the bottom and left but perhaps I should have added to the right.
    Adjustments were done in LR4.
Any suggestions, critiques would be very much appreciated.
    Thank you.
    Kevin

You did a good job getting your bird sharp, Kevin. I think it might be a little more pleasing if the crop were a little looser, i.e. the wing on the right is quite close to the border.

Love the intensity of the eye and color of bill against the right wing... agree with Marina.... a bit more space. Great BIF!

Yes, a little more room left and top, but a wonderful flight shot! Sharp on the head -- good work!

My only suggestion would be to post more!!

Kevin...I agree with everyone's praise, but also want to add that you did a good job maintaining the detail in the white feathers.
