I was sitting in the muck taking pictures of this Spoonbill. There was a gap in the trees allowing sunlight to pass and illuminate a small area, then he took a couple of steps and was in the beautiful sun. I quickly adjusted the exposure and took this shot.

Good pose and great HA. Good IQ
I like the raised foot and the big water droplet.
I would just change the comp by adding a bit more room left and bottom.
Why did you use a flash?

Lovely low shooting angle, pose with the raised foot and a perfect exposure. Excellent use of flash.
Falling droplets == bonus points.
I'd give a slight more room for the bird in the comp.
I wish the grey mound right in front of the leg wasn't there. I'd tone it down to blend it in a bit more, but that's a minor crit.
Nice colours, low angle, walking pose. As mentioned the water drops are a nice bonus. I'd have preferred a smoother transition line between the green and tan in the BG...an even lower angle would have helped...but I understand it was likely not possible. Still a fine image of a beautiful species!
Strange how views differ. I would prefer more room on the right to get the head more central . Maybe a tad big in the frame but a brilliant bird and shot.
