    Great Bustard females captured today on the road to Salto, a small hamlet in Portugal's Alentejo.
    Presented here in pano, it is a biggish crop but I think really shows of the magic of the Montado and Pseudo step.
    These birds are Europes heaviest flying birds. A resident these are sensitive to human approaches and are an endangered species.
    Along with these beautiful birds was also a group of endangered Common Cranes!

    Richard I had one trip there a few years ago and was lucky to see these magnificent birds ,hope they are still there for generations to come. I like your pano crop very much.
