I really like the color palette and IQ. Great Bg and perch.
It took me a second or two to figure out exactly what the bird was doing.
I really wish the eye was visible.
I think the composition should allow for less room on the LHS and more room on the RHS,

Yep, the eye is there now that you mention it. Perhaps adding a small catchlight would help with that...if you are OK with that type of modification. Nice perch and BG.

The color combination is great here. The eye is difficult to detect but I am not sure adding a catch light would work no matter how strategically you placed it. I'd be interested to see if anyone could add one and make it look real.
