This is an interesting idea and I like what you've done. Great spacing of wildebeest, with an obvious movement in one direction.

Given the relative lack of interest in the sky, I would lose quite a bit of it, going for a wider or even long letterbox crop to emphasise the length of the line of animals moving to water. Then either try to darken the sky somewhat, to bring out those white clouds, or go to B&W and try a high-contrast option.

I might also lose the single woody plant in the LLHC which is a bit distracting.

Hi Sanjeev - I really like this one and had pretty much the same suggestions/comments as Ed. The one other comment is that I would like a little more room on the right. If this is ff and you don't have it, I would consider cropping the first two wildes out so that the open space behind them becomes the space for the line to move into. This is definitely one worth tweaking a bit more and then blowing up big.

Hi Sanjeev, I think well all have similar thoughts on this.

    I agree:
    - Darkening the sky will help
    - If you have more FG then going 16 x 9 and having the WB on the RoT's line is nice
If not just try a 'Letter box' format
    - Lose the couple of WB at the front to create more space to walk into

Nice thinking on this one. Using a CP polariser would have helped the sky and avoid any PP adjustments.

    Hello Sanjeev!

Interesting shot and I like the fact that you are experimenting. Like Steve said above, I would lose just two wildebeest on the RHS to gain more space and a sense of direction. How about another version with a pano crop?

    Kind regards,

    Hi Sanjeev,

I agree with all comments above. My first thought was : go pano
Great image and you got good suggestions above

    Hi Sanjeev,
great idea of image design, well thought in the field.
To make this really work best for me, i would try to remove the earth mounts and give the sky a tremendous drama to fill the sky with life, as presented i find it a bit boring.

I think this would work in B/W processed like Morkel did with his elephants toned a bit blueish, even if you do not have the cumulus clouds, at least i would try.

Again like this idea , very simple but effective.

The idea is a good one here Sanjeev, but agree on much less sky and a tad more lower room with the alternate pano crop a good suggestion.

I like this as posted, though cropping down to the lowest layer of clouds is also a nice look.
I agree with Steve, using a CP would have helped a lot here. I tried in PP to get more out of the clouds but couldn't get much more (perhaps if working from RAW you'd get it done).
Going monochrome is also an option as Andreas pointed out.

Here's how it may look with a CP filter via NIK polarisation filter and added NR on sky.
