I used NIK vignette, and D/L center, as well as Viveza for some local adjustments. Also a texture from Texbox.

I love the softness of this white flower emerging from the gorgeous green. The flower is exquisite--soft yet with detail. What f stop did you use? I like how it is framed by the green leaves. I'm not fond of the circles in the green. I suspect they are from the texture. Outstanding photo of this lovely flower.

Thanks Anita, I used f4 with the 24-105 @105. I think this is the first time I have used the texture Aqua Sparkles. I don't mind it, but maybe I'll try some others.

My reaction to the colors and the softness was the same as Anita's. Wow.

I don't really mind the circles. The color of the texture was no doubt important in the final look of the image. I'll sometimes blur a texture to keep the color without the defined boundaries. As soft as the circles are in Aqua Sparkles, blurring should render the edges nearly invisible.

Very nice detail in the flower, I wouldn't have minded seeing just a bit more of it. Did the software create the leaves around the flower or was it just poking through? Nice work.

Beautiful and softly dramatic composition with the single trumpet flower and the deep leafy green totally surrounding it! I would also like to see just a little detail back into the flower since it has those wonderful delicate yellow lines. Dennis has a good suggestion about softening/blurring textures. I must remember that. I love the hint of leaf shapes in that luscious green.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions. I will look at it again in Photoshop. Dennis I never thought of blurring the texture. Good idea!
