Last Saturday morning I captured this image along Joe Overstreet Road in Osceola County, Florida. The morning was bright overcast. The image was processed in Adobe Lightroom 5. Exposure, sharpening and noise reduction, usual post processing. This image is about 50% of the original 2x3 for the square crop.

    Welcome to BPN.

I like the look-back pose and view of talons, BG is good too. wish you had a more natural perch. I'd sharpen him a bit more and try to recover more details in the white neck area

Arash gave you good suggestions. I do love that look back pose, and I feel that a more vertical crop would better showcase this pose.

Agree with the crop and back post. Next challenge is get it off somewhere other than the fence post. :)

Thanks everyone for the comments and suggestions.

Arash, I have worked on the white neck feathers and now they show more detail.

Marina, your suggestion of a vertical crop rather than square was spot on.

Troy, thank you for viewing and commenting.
