Here is another frame from Ottawa with Dan. We started photographing early (before sunrise) so I cranked up the ISO to 10K. The snow whites stand out against the snow.

1DX 400mm f/5.6 1/1600sec ISO 10,000 handheld. image processing with Canon DPP and CDS6. owl was attracted by bait. hope you like it.

Hi Arash, love the minimal colour, the eyes just sing, set against the overall starkness of the image. Both pose & HA work for me, and an inspiration on the techs!
You guys are certainly pulling them out of the bag, sadly I won't have the luxury of snow next month with these guys, but hey, VWD Arash!

BTW Is it 'Case 6' you use?

Excellent image Arash! I like the wing position, eye contact, IQ and composition. Impressive for ISO 10,000.

Certainly some Snowies around over there. Another good one. They are all wall hangers really so its difficult to find any nits really.

Truly impressive quality at ISO 10,000. My hat is off to you. While I love this image, there are 2 previous flight poses that I love even more.

He he, at this point with low light and my 7D I was going for some artistic blurs...none of which turned out that time around. Great stare and wing position, and the white-on-white is always appealing.

Great looking pose and eye contact. You sure got a good sequence of this fly by. Congrats on the great frames.

Very impressive Arash, looks like a potential award winning image to me. Special capture and one you should hang on your wall.
