    Default Eastern Rosella

Another local rosella here in Victoria. Quite common, but a very nervy and difficult bird to photograph.
    Thanks for looking, Greg.

I like the pose, perch, sharpness, colourful bird and clean BG. The dried berries add interest especially the one at the intersection of the two main branches on the right of the frame with the smiley face. Excellent image Greg!

Wonderful colors and detail, I like the Y shape of the perch and how the subject pops off the BG.

Very nice bird, perch, berries, colors and BKGR. Sharp. And nicely framed. Light just a bit on the harsh side but well-handled.

The bird is lovely and it seems that everything has come together. The light might be a bit harsh but certainly no image killer. I'm glad you did not clone out the twig with leaves.

    Hi Greg
    I agree with Adrian above.
Not sure about the background. Everyone seems to want plain colours these days ,but no big deal and all down to personal choice and what you can get at the time.. Great looking birds.

Another top shot Greg. Nice composition with vivid colours on the Rosella and interesting deatil in the perch.
It looks a wee bit bright overall but that could just be my monitor.

I too think it looks just a tad bright, but I love the image and everything else about it. Well framed, great colours, nice perch. Highly appealing.

I love the colors and detail in this one . My favorite Rosella and I used to raise them. We kept a baby that we named Skittles, for the multi colored candy. Nice perch and BG too.
