Sorry about your elbows, but this image is worth a little hurt. I really like the intense pose of the plover, the beautifully sharp eye and beak, and of course the foreground and backgrounds that you achieved by your low angle.

I know exactly how your elbows feel. :( Beautiful background on this image. The bird is very sharp where it matters. I would wish to see more of the feet (Alfred will probably agree with me on this. :) ). The bird looks like it needs to lay an egg in the near future.

Really nice work, Philuh. I really like the pose, composition and the low angle. I made some adjustments to the color of the image because there seems to be a yellow cast. Let me know how this looks on your monitor. I like the way it looks on mine. Maybe it's time for a calibration?

Very nice indeed. I feel the pain also and makes me remember my time laying in the mud. Love how intimate level you have been.
I guess having the lovely bg it was worth to go down. Like repost better :)ű

Like both posts ... although the second one does seem to pop a little more and color seems spot-on. Love images created with a low angle and this one does not dissapoint !!! Very very nice.

Interested to know what the Shadle Slider is all about ...

Excellent capture, with soft creamy background, sharp and exposure right on. I like both version, though I'm partial to the first one, sort of looks creamier.

The BG is really good and compliments very well the bird´s plumage. Love the low angle, fantastic, and the alert like pose of the plover. Well done

    Hi Philip,

Very nice low angle and sharpens. You did well keeping the head and eyes sharp. Blake's re-pose works better, but I would also remove some of that noise.

We should hang out one of these days and maybe Blake will join us!

    Take care!
