I have been shooting at an eagles nest for the last few weeks. To date I have had Grey cloudy skies nearly 100% of the time. This is essentially my first keeper with a blue sky. Also a new 1.7 t/c as the 1.4 seems a lilt short at this location. Shot form a tripod.

    A classic image. Wonderful!
There is a faint yellowish haze (cloud?) in the sky just above the V of the wings.
That is mildly distracting and would be easy to remove.

Good shot. You handled the exposure well and good details and sharpness. TFS. Loi

Great exposure, wingspread, and details. Nothing wrong with cloudy skies! I might crop a sliver from the back side. A solid flight shot.

    Keep em coming!

nice pose and light, I might move him a bit to the left and sharpen just a bit more. I like the wing position

Well exposed and nice light for a beautiful image. I agree with previous comments about positioning. The oof clouds don't bother me as I think some variation in the background color is a plus.

Nice wing position and a classic pose, agree with the others on comp and sharpening and I would Lighten the browns just a bit more.

Very nice light and excellent exposure. I'd crop this a bit tighter. Agree with Loi on the cloud - it's got to stay imo.

I like the wing position, exposure, details and faint cloud in BG. I agree with composition suggestions. Nice image Robert!
