Nice image design and bird. But too red and way to dark.... For the repost I corrected the color balance, pulled the Curve up, and applied some NIK Detail Extractor on the shadows via a Hide-all Mask and then pulled that Curve up as well. I painted the brighter whites in the background back in.

The red is due to the fact that the subject was photographed at sunset.
