Jungle Babbler
It was just a chance encounter near sunset time.
I was in the balcony and was in the process of packing up when suddenly this guy appeared and gave me a stern look.
Well, the Babblers are known for their looks.
It almost overfilled my frame.

Nice bird and background. Thick wire perch not so good :). It is a bit tight all around. A vertical might have given the bird more room. Sharp enough for me.

Your sharpness looks good, and I like your BG. Agree with Artie about the perch and the need for more space around the bird. Of course when you're shooting off a balcony with a fixed focal length, there's not much you can do about the size of the bird in the frame.

I like the stare it's giving the viewer. Agree that the wire perch isn't ideal, but it is what it is. The bird certainly looks sharp. I might even venture to say that on my screen it looks like you could back off the sharpening slightly. There's some jaggidy artifacts in the feather detail starting to crop up.
