Need Lightroom 5 help

Hi,

I was just going through a folder that I had imported previously to Lightroom, and I received a message saying that the photo I selected couldn't be located, and asked if I wanted to locate it. So I said yes and navigated to the original folder on my hard drive on which that photo was stored. I selected it in the hard drive folder, and at that point, Lightroom stopped displaying any photos from that folder. When I go into Navigator in LR, the folder now has a question mark next to it. Help!!!

You'll get this frustrating issue if you move a file or folder in the computer rather than in LR's Folder panel. Click on the question-marked folder and it should give you a chance to navigate to the location. LR will then put the pictures back.

If a computer glitch moved or lost the folder, it will be more complicated -- you'll probably have to copy the folder back from a backup.

If it isn't that simple, do an internet search on "missing folders in Lightroom" and you'll find a lot of information.
