Nice pose, shows the feet well, simple and clean.

From a comp. standpoint, I would prefer that the leaf ended before exiting the frame, as it tends to pull your eye out of the frame.

I like the bird and perch, and looks like you had nice light quality too. There is a faint white spot in the pupil, underneath the catchlight, that I would remove.
