    Another image from my recent boat outing. Here a Cory's shearwater struggling to take off after eating a big flying fish

    ISO 640

    Cropped a bit from left and top and bottom for panoramic view

    Usual PP levels and slight colour adjustments
    Selective sharpening on subject

    Fun image, Shane. Crop works well. Like the splash, running pose and the reflection under the wing.

    I agree with Marina. The light wasn't the best but you did well with the exposure anyway. Love the crop and resulting composition with the splash.

    I like the trailing splash, details look good. The killer frame would have been the one before this with the wings fully raised, but still nice

    Spectacular take off pose with nice wing position. I like the reflection of water on him and under the wing, nice flash of water and composition.

    I like this lots. Great job with the composition. I also like the water reflecting on the plumage. Nice water texture.

    I actually thought there wasn't a focussed frame before this one but i just checked again and i did get it

    Will post the raised wings frame soon
