Hey wasn't in the backyard!:D Never get this close to wetlands ducks, thought oh no injured duckie. Rats, leave house for 15 minutes and find injured wild fillintheblank....She flew off, finally (no nest) back down to the water. Pretty pedestrian image.

Pedestrian subject matter maybe, but well executed. Good sharpness, although I might selectively sharpen the eye. Nice BG and composition. Soft light. A nice photo!

    :):)Very nicely done Nonda,
I like the conposition and pose. The colors and details on your duck are nice and crisp, I also like the grass and the background. Great eye contact...:D:D

    Hi Nonda!

I have to agree with Doug and Gus here, you did really well. The background is really nice and the duckie has nice detail and a good pose. Depending on our taste you could also consider taking a touch off the top but either way works in my opinion.

    Good stuff!!

Fully agree with comments. I particularly like the selected crop, low angle and eye contact. Very appealing image !!!

i think that is a female mottled duck. there's a hint of blue in the wing down in the grass that gave it away for me. looks great too!! i like the low perspective and nice bg. well done!!

    Well wow and thanks!!!

Harold darlin I doubt if any self respecting mottled would want any part of cold Ohio, course they look quite a bit alike too, least according to Sibley.
