    Default Last light preening

I really like the moment of change when the sun is about to set. All birds started bathing and preening. Magic moment and light.

Beautiful light and excellent preening pose! Having the feet visible would have taken it up another notch for me.

Sweet light pose and detail. A bit centered imo.

My first instinct was that the comp was too centered...but I think it looks OK this way due to the overall shape of the subject. Absolutely perfect preening pose you got here. Too bad these birds seem to know how to place their feet just behind a lump on the ground...

A lovely pose with the feather in the beak. And beautiful light. For my taste, a little off the right and more on the left would help. Too bad there's not a PS tool for removing lumps and seeing the feet behind.

Killer preening pose and amazing light!!! Agree seeing the feet would have made this image even stronger. I think I might consider a crop off of the bottom and right.
