    Default Tricoloured Heron

This was taken at the North Beach at Fort Desoto in Florida. I tried staying ahead of the heron but he was quick. If only he turned his head towards me. I still like the image and hope you enjoy it. Canvas added to the left side of the frame, removed an OOF plant on the beach between the legs and evened out the beach and upper BG. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

Love the wide stride and the water trailing off the rear foot.
Terrific low POV and IQ and sharpness are excellent. He looks like he is rushing to an important meeting!
    very nice,
    Gail

Delightful shot, Jim. I especially like the banding effect made by the foreground and background. Absolutely Killer Legs really accentuated by the low shooting angle. Very nice.

Spectacular image of walking Heron with beautiful colors. I like the water trail off the foot, nice low shooting angle and composition.

I love this composition. Beautifully exposed and the pose is perfect with the front feet just touching the floor. The low angle was the perfect choice as well. Winner image.

Great striding pose ... techs look great ... head angle works fine for me here ... nicely done!

Love that wide stride! I also like the water rushing off the hind foot. To me just a slightly higher vantage point would have been ideal, but difficult to gauge in the heat of the action. Super nice!

I love this one Jim. A different look at a Tricolored. The striding pose is wonderful, as is the low POV. He is so intent on where he is headed that I don't mind the HA at all.
