Looking quite devilish, this Snowy Owl tried to stare me down. I believe it won...

Simply Beautiful Daniel, What a stare. Great job on the whites and how nice the talons are so visible.

Another incredible image Daniel! I like the ice pick talons, confrontational stare, IQ, details and composition. Every time I think the images can't get better you post another, how high does the bar go?

Very intimidating shot here Daniel. Sharpness, exposure and comp all superb. A 'top notch' shot for sure.

    Daniel:

Top notch! It is the 'evil' stare generated by the slight chin down pose that really makes it! Actually, I am not sure birds have chins, but you get the idea!

    Techs look great.

    Cheers

Daniel - excellent exposure and sharpness. I too can see why the owl won.

I just bought a 2014 Calendar and the theme is Owls, none of the shots in there even come close to this. Simply perfect !!!!

Superb! The balance between the deep gold stare and the black talons make this really special. I scrolled my screen a bit to see what it would look like without the talons - not even close!
