This is Ozzy and Harriett, a pair of nesting Bald eagles that have become very well known due to their web cam which is now nearing 18 million views. I wanted to post a shot of the pair together as my first post of them. They are very close to my house so I suspect they will take up most of my photography time over the next few months. The second egg hatched on Christmas Day, so there are now two chicks in the nest. I watched Ozzy chase away a Juvenile and a large near adult yesterday. A good photo op, but we all worry, as we tend to become attached and want safety for the Eagles we watch daily.

I like the interaction, talons and sharpness. I find the blacks a little washed out. I did a version with neutrals and blacks raised up in selective colour. I would like to get two Bald Eagles in one frame someday.
You did a great job getting both bald eagles in the same frame, Robert, and I like the tree a lot. They really stand out against. I think Jim has done a nice job making the birds pop a little more. I hope to get down to photograph these guys at some point. I have heard so much about them but never seen them.
Thanks Jim, I reprocessed this several times, I am glad for some advice.
Thank you Marina, Don't let this season go by without a trip to this nest. I am sure you will find it a rewarding day. And Thank you Phillip, looks like you don't live that far either.
Nice interaction, I like the face-to-face poses. I do wish the bills would not merge though. If you are lucky they may perch on the branch behind them rather than having it run behind them. I still like it as is though. Sounds like an awesome project you have for the next few months!
I hate to repeat what has already been said but Daniel has said exactly what I would say. (The merging bills and the large branch behind the bird thing)
A very nice image and it is nice to see the front end of one eagle and the back view of the other.
Jim's repost looks good.
I know you will have many more opportunities with this pair and look forward to seeing those images,
