Top notch image Arash! I like the wing position, eye contact, exposure, details and composition.

This is truly a stunner, Arash. The white on white with those piercing eyes is just out of this world.

Again, this must have been one great day making photographs. They would make a gallery presentation by themselves. Outstanding.

Thanks Artie, yes this one is from the same shoot which I mentioned earlier, as far as I know owls in Ottawa area are mostly attracted by bait this time of the year.

    Thanks everyone for nice comments!

Very cool Arash. The look of the scene is awesome. Very unique. I like the comp you chose also, pretty tight. This would make a great print. Well done

Thanks Arash. Don't get me wrong. I have no problems baiting these owls as long as it is not done by a busy road. I just ask that you note it with each post as we do have lots of new traffic each day.

The white on white makes this an absolutely stunning image. Love the wing position and the yellow-eyed stare. Doesn't get better than this.

Incredible.... White on White really works with the right contrast and sharpness at the right points to pull the bird perfectly from the BG. The eyes surely draw the viewer into the image... all else is complementary from there. Top of the line.

+1 on everything said above! Great image and those eyes are killer!!

Is the underwing pale like this one, on all snowy owls or is it just this individual? never seen one before hence my question
