I used plastic wrap, frac, inverted the colours, alien skin texture, texbox texture, and enhanced the colours in LAB. No poster edges! I kind of liked how I got an icy pattern in the BG.

Very creative Jackie! I love the icy textures throughout the image, and the frosty blue color is perfect.

Beautiful. Between the shape of the branches, there, and the different color in the background, there's a wonderful flow to the image that effectively holds my attention.

Interesting how the BG reads with more texture / contrast than the branches but somehow remains a BG. Like!!

Wonderful job with the bg. Would you please post the original. I would like to see what you started with.

Wow, most impressive. This group continues to amaze me with the ability to use the myriad of available plug-ins.

Jackie, the OP is wonderful - I love the variety of textures and the flow of the image. I like the original also - I think it'd look great as a black and white

I like the shapes and ice that you photographed--pleasing shapes, lines and composition. I like the top half of the image better than the bottom half--the branches and ice stand out more. In the bottom half and on the middle of the right side the blue is paler, which I find less pleasing.
