    Really good pose of the wood stork, seems well exposed. But the picture is very small, which precludes giving a good critique. You can repost it larger as a response to your own thread, and let us get a good look at it.

    Repost helps out a lot. I like the wing angle and that you can see the tips of both wings. Nice job of controlling the highlights. To me, the head doesn't look quite sharp but still an interesting shot.

    It is often a challenge to capture the iridescence in the feathers of the Wood Stork. The lighting and angle must be perfect. You were very close here. The head and neck of the bird in particular appears a little soft. I would speculate that your shutter speed was a little slow with an increase in speed there more helpful than opening up the aperture slightly. With no evidence of noise, you could have certainly increased your ISO without concern. I recommend you outline the head, bill, and neck of the bird with the lasso tool to isolate that area which you might want to sharpen a little more.
