Default Western Kingbird Playing with Dinner

In late April at the Bosque I watched this western kingbird for quite some time having a good time with this dragonfly. At first the dragonfly fought back but, after a while, the kingbird won the battle and tossed the dragonfly in the air several times before he finally ate it.

Very nice! Did you add the vignetting along the top or was that part of the BG? Either way it does a lovely job of framing your subjects.

Thanks, everyone. Julie, I didn't add the vignetting. The bird was perched on a small branch over the pond at the crossroads at the Bosque. I think the darker area was caused by the trees in the background.
