    Technically and compositionally the image looks fine to me.

    It is too bad that the bird looks so disheveled. The breast feathers have a streakiness that looks wet. Did the bird just emerge from the water?
    The tail feathers look worn out; or are they just wet? They sky is a lackluster grey.

    You've got the technique down. Try again another day!
