    The shooting angle was a bit steep but was happy to get this image during a safari at Tadoba tiger reserve, Maharashtra, India.

    When I first looked at it I thought "pigeon!" but then I looked at the talons.

    I love the eye and nice simple background.
    The stick that it is perched on is not very attractive; it looks broken. Weathered is good, but this looks rotten.
    Might be improved if you lighten the shadows a bit.

    What a unique looking raptor. It dose look pigeon like. Nice looking detail and I like the natural rugged perch. Well done
