    Default Wood Stork

This Wood Stork was captured during last spring's trip to Ding Darling NWR, Sanibel Island. Not a very active day but I did come across this one and this is about as active as he got for the 30 minutes I watched.
Curves layer for contrast, lightened head and eye, cloned out bg stump, sharpening. Looking at this now, I think the water should be cleaned up more behind the bird.

Classic composition with a lot of nice subtle colors: blue, peach, maroon and gold.
I think you might have lightened the eye a bit too much.

    I agree.

Nice positioning of bird. The fragmented reflection and circles have come out well. I find the BG especially above the bird bit harsh.

I like the ruffled feathers, circular ripples, exposure, reflection and composition. I would clean up the water behind the bird. Nice image John.
