This was taken in January this year at a local Nature Center. I have been processing image from Florida but thought one with snow would be more appropriate for the holidays. Merry Christmas!

Spectacularly perfect. Super sharp, perfect exposure, lovely pose, and sweet BKGR. Great perch with snow. I like how there are a few brown tones on the perch that complement the brown feathers of the undertail. Great look at both feet and I keep looking at that neck and bill. If you twisted my arm I might wish that you had raised the camera just a bit to show us more of the perch on the left.

Excellent image for the reasons given above. However the snow looks slightly creamy in colour. l do not know if this requires correction or if the light conditions produced the effect.
    Seasons greetings.

Very nice job with the fill flash. Background really sets this well exposed little bird off just right. That curve right to the tip of his beak, very cool pose.

The moment I opened this image, I thought wow. This is one of the best images I have ever seen you post. Techs are spot on. Pose is killer. Love the snow and the color palate. Agree with Artie about the perch extending a bit more on the left being the only thing that could possibly improve an already super image.

Jim, this is quite fantastic! A pose only a nuthatch can strike, but not in a typical way...not sure if that makes sense. Love it all the way!
